Twenty Seven Ohio Cobra Club members were in attendance at Saturday morning club meeting, that was conducted at the Columbus Marriott Northwest hotel, in Dublin, OH.  Reports from the club’s treasure and webmaster were made, followed by a discussion concerning the raffle cars for the clubs 2022 and 2023 London Cobra Shows, as well as an overview of the upcoming LCS.

The two year Board of Directors terms in office for George Daulton, Dave Beck, Pam Beck, Mark McKimmins, Libby Krupinski and Dave Pohli will come to an end on June 30th. Elections were held for those six Board positions with George, Dave Beck, Pam and Mark being reelected for an additional two year term. Dan Lau and Tim Gary were elected to fill the position left open by Libby and Dave Pohli not returning to the Board. Tom Decker, Michael Woody and Roy Edgar still have a year left on their two year terms on the Board.

At the close of the meeting thirteen club meeting enjoyed lunch together in the Marriott’s restaurant, with a cruise along the backroads of central Ohio after lunch.

Your club held its annual After the Holidays party at the Marriott Columbus Northwest hotel in Dublin, OH, on Saturday evening, January 15^th.

Some 30 club members attended the party. After a short club business meeting, the group enjoyed  spending time with their old, as well as some new Cobra friends, dinner, and having fun with a White Elephant gift exchange. The gifts consisted of something old, used or new with a value of $12.00.

Gordon and Dawn Gross led a group of Ohio Cobra Club members to cruise through southeastern Ohio, using the Fairfield Inn in Athens, OH as their base.

The group cruised some of the Windy 9 Cruises on Saturday and Sunday morning, September 24 and 25, 2021. Ohio’s Windy 9 Cruises are a Cobra and motorcycling destination comprised of 9 routes that begin and end in Athens. The abundance of curves and elevation change along these roads make this a popular cruising destination for both Cobras and motorcyclists.

Ohio Cobra Club members, Mark and Tina Braden, Gordon and Dawn Gross, Larry and Kathy Hoboken, Stan and Sharon Ream, and Mark McKimmins, enjoyed a summertime cruise to museums in Springfield and Urbana, OH.

The cruise, led by Mark and Tina, stopped at the Hartman Rock Garden and Snyder Park, in Springfield and the Champaign Aviation Museum located at Grimes Field in Urbana. Afterward, the group enjoyed lunch at Uncle Beth's BBQ, a somewhat unassuming and hidden gem of a BBQ restaurant located in North Lewisburg, OH.

The group also made a stop at Marie's Candies in West Liberty, OH, and enjoyed some of the best small-batch chocolate candies Ohio has to offer.
